Payment notification
Payment notification is sent out in January each year, and whenever the amount is changed.
Notification or change of account number for pension deposits
We work together with Nordea concerning your pension payment. Pension, however, can be paid into an account with any bank of your choice. The pension can also be paid into a bank account abroad.
Notification of new or changed account is to be made at Nordea. Notification can also be made at any other bank which will then forward your account registration form to Nordea.
In case you have not registered an account number your payment will be made via a notice of payment/money order.
If you have questions regarding your account number we refer you to the nearest Nordea branch office or to Nordeas Customer service phone 0771-22 44 88.
Preliminary tax deduction
PRI Pensionsgaranti is obligated to make preliminary tax deductions on pension payments.
If more than one payer is involved, the main employer, i e the one who normally pays out the largest amount, shall make tax deductions according to the tax table or to a decision by the Swedish Tax Agency. Incidental income is taxed with 30%. Pension payers are considered a par with employers. More information about taxes are to be found on the Tax Agency’s home page.
If you wish to change your preliminary tax deduction we kindly request that you forward the form Change of Tax Deductions to us or, as an alternative, a copy of the Tax Agency’s decision.
Resident Abroad
For recipients living abroad an annual life control is done. As the National Registration does not have reports on deaths, marriages etc for residents abroad we need to acquire this information otherwise.
Proof of Living is sent annually to recipients living abroad. The recipient certifies on the form that he/she is alive, marital status, country of residence, tax registration number etc.
The certificate is to be signed and stamped by one of the following institutions:
national insurance office, Swedish embassy, Swedish consulate, foreign social security institution, Notary Public, foreign police authorities or foreign population registering authority.
